Fallen Soldiers
I'm really getting tired of hearing on the radio and the news all of these pointless things about celebrities, I can honestly say that none of it really effects my life because it's mostly just pointless information about famous people doing stupid things for media attention and then everyone looks up to them as if they're some kind of hero.
What about the soldiers in Afghanistan fighting for freedom everyday? Fighting the terrorism so that we can sleep in peace at night. We never hear about them, they're the real heroes and the people we should look up to. We rarely hear of the fallen soldiers, the ones that GAVE THEIR LIVES for US! I would much rather hear about these things because they truly do matter.
It just bothers me that Miley Cyrus's new hair cut is more important to the media than a soldier dying for us. It doesn't seem right, I'm working on a video for my YouTube account that is a Tribute to our soldiers and I will post it on my blog when it is finished.

I agree with this 100%, I don't want to work for somebody else's food, shelter, and health care when they are perfectly capable of going out and working for it themselves and then having to watch them complain or about how its not good enough. Or just let people sit around all day doing drugs because they know that they're gonna get that welfare check at the end of the week, I don't want to be an enabler, I don't want my hard earned money to go towards someone that is perfectly capable of earning their own way through life.
My grandparents, my parents, brothers and sisters, and some aunts and uncles have worked for everything they have and are happier with what they have because they worked for it, nothing was just handed to them, they struggled but in the end the struggle was worth it, knowing that they earned what they have is a lot more satisfying.

Now That's the ______ Difference between Winning and Losing
This isn't just about football to me, I watch this when I need something to lift me up.
I heard it for the first time when I was working at Jimmy Johns, I was cutting up tomatoes before we opened.

I thought this was worth sharing...
The night before the burial of her husband 2nd Lt. James Cathey of the United States Marine Corps, killed in Iraq, Katherine Cathey refused to leave the casket, asking to sleep next to his body for the last time. The Marines made a bed for her, tucking in the sheets below the flag. Before she fell asleep, she opened her laptop computer and played songs that reminded her of “Cat”, and one of the Marines asked if she wanted them to continue standing watch as she slept.
“I think it would be kind of nice if you kept doing it” she said.“I think that’s what he would have wanted”.
